“Right from the start there was careful attention to every detail including budget, timing, and quality. Neal is a good listener and problem solver. He skillfully managed the complete renovation of my 1962 home top to bottom balancing the building constraints, regulations, my budget and helping me fulfill the vision I had for the house. The original plan included restoring the stonework on the main floor fireplace but it wasn't cleaning up like we had hoped so we went to plan B and retiled instead. We also switched out the old gas insert to an contemporary open flame log set - the result is stunning. He was patient and respectful of the original plan to restore the fireplace but managed the budget carefully so we didn't over invest before making a decision to change the approach. At the end of the project when the countertops and backsplash were installed Neal wasn't happy with the workmanship so he had it all pulled out and replaced. It caused a delay in the project because the replacement material wasn't readily available, but it was the right thing to do - he has a great deal of integrity and pride in his work. I feel like a lesser contractor would have just proceeded. He has a great team that are knowledgeable, professional, and courteous- I felt comfortable working with everyone and truly appreciated everything they brought to the table. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my project.”

"This past year we brought Neal and the Knight Custom Homes team in to do a major kitchen replacement as well as some work updating the main floor of our home. This is by far the biggest project we have ever taken on in regards to cost and scope. Neal worked with us through all the stages, introduced us to his trades that he would be bringing in, and delivered an incredible product. His attention to detail and the bottom line is the thing I value most. He does business the right way. In the end Neal completed a major renovation in our home ON TIME and ON BUDGET. We weren't left without a kitchen for months on end, because Neal worked to coordinate his work and his trades so everything would be done on time. He also worked hard to ensure the quote he produced for us was accurate and inline with the final invoice. He knew we were financing the renovation and we would not have any extra finances.
It is not easy to "trust" contractors but my family and I have put our trust in Neal and Knight Custom Homes three different times and we have yet to be disappointed. I would recommend them for any job large or small!
